TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Franklin men's soccer team continued a three-game road trip on Wednesday (Oct. 19) night, taking on the league-leading Rose-Hulman Engineers.
Freshman
Cooper Gross netted his first career goal for the Grizzlies (3-10, 3-4 HCAC) and
Ian Rowe stopped a season-high 10 shots. But it was all Engineers (11-1-2, 7-0 HCAC), with the host side taking a 9-1 decision.
Gross' tally came in the 39th minute, when
Eddy Yousak tapped a loose ball off a free kick to Gross that he slammed home from in close.
Franklin is back in action on Saturday (Oct. 22) afternoon, when they head to Ohio for a meeting with the Defiance Yellow Jackets. Kick-off is set for 3:30 p.m.
