RICHMOND, Ind. – The Franklin College men's soccer team earned three critical points on Saturday (Oct. 15) afternoon, rallying with three second half goals for a 4-2 comeback win over the Earlham Quakers.
Junior
Eddy Yousak potted a pair of late goals and set a career-high with 12 shot attempts in the game for Franklin (3-9, 3-3 HCAC).
Htoo Ray Moo and
Thomas Samuel also found the back of the net for the Grizzlies as they maintained their spot in the league's top six.
How it Happened
Earlham opened the scoring in the 13
th minute but Moo would pull the Grizzlies even in the 36
th minute when he stuck home a shot from the right side of the penalty area. But the Quakers re-took the lead less than two minutes later, making it a 2-1 game as the teams broke for the half.
The Grizzlies got back to level in the 62
nd minute when Samuel banged home the rebound off a
Dany Escamilla shot for his first of the year. After creating several dangerous chances in the game, Yousak found the back of the net in the 69
th minute when he stuck home a free kick outside the penalty area. Yousak added another in the 86
th minute, giving him nine goals on the season and putting the match away.

-Moo was the only other Grizzly to record multiple shots on target.
