FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin volleyball team welcomed the Mount St. Joseph Lions to the Spurlock Center on Friday (Oct. 14) night, wrapping up a two-game homestand.

Hope Moring had 10 kills each to lead the Franklin (8-12, 2-3 HCAC) attack, but the Grizzlies. But the Lions (17-4, 5-0 HCAC) were too much to overcome with the visitors taking the match in three sets 25-21, 25-17, 25-21.
Franklin raced out to an 8-3 lead to open game one but a Lion timeout allowed the visitors to reset. The Mount responded with a 12-3 run to take the lead for good in the opener. The Lions got out to early leads in each of the final two sets to finish off the sweep.
