FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin volleyball team welcomed the Mount St. Joseph Lions to the Spurlock Center on Friday (Oct. 14) night, wrapping up a two-game homestand.

Sophomore Miranda Wilson and freshman Hope Moring had 10 kills each to lead the Franklin (8-12, 2-3 HCAC) attack, but the Grizzlies. But the Lions (17-4, 5-0 HCAC) were too much to overcome with the visitors taking the match in three sets 25-21, 25-17, 25-21. 

Franklin raced out to an 8-3 lead to open game one but a Lion timeout allowed the visitors to reset. The Mount responded with a 12-3 run to take the lead for good in the opener. The Lions got out to early leads in each of the final two sets to finish off the sweep.

-Franklin hit .095 on the night compared to .239 for the Lions.
-Billie Jarrett led Franklin with 22 assists, 15 digs and three aces. 
-Campbell Clark added 10 digs from the libero spot. 
-Trinity Schroeder accounted for a team-high three blocks.
