HANOVER, Ind. – The Franklin women's soccer team hit the road on Wednesday (Oct. 12) for the first of two straight away from home, taking on the Hanover Panthers.
The Grizzlies (2-9-1, 0-4-1 HCAC) fell behind the Panthers (8-2-2, 4-0-1 HCAC) early and couldn't recover, with Hanover taking the match 6-0.
Hanover potted two goals in the opening few minutes to take command of the match.
Elaina Page had both of Franklin's shots on net in the game while
Makenna Mundy stopped nine shots before giving the net to
Natalia Ferrufino, who finished with three saves.
Franklin wraps up the road trip on Saturday (Oct. 15) afternoon with a match against the Earlham Quakers. Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
