RICHMOND, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer team closed out a two-game road trip on Saturday (Oct. 15) afternoon, taking on the Earlham Quakers.
The Grizzlies (2-10-1, 0-5-1 HCAC) dominated on the shot clock with 17 attempts to four for Earlham (4-6-2, 2-4 HCAC). But the home side would get the game's lone goal midway through the first half and take a 1-0 decision.
The game's lone goal came in the 16
th minute off the foot of Earlham's Jenna Hoeh. Franklin held a 7-2 edge in shots in the first half but al three shots on target were turned back. The second half saw the Griz attack ramp up the pressure with 10 shot attempts and four on target but come away with nothing to show for it.
Elaina Page led the Grizzlies with five shot attempts in the match with two landing on target.

Lilly Haines each recorded four shots with Haines leading all players with three shots on goal.
Franklin is back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 19) night when they host Rose-Hulman in the team's final home match of the season. Kick-off from Faught Stadium is set for 7:00 p.m.
