Box Score FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College women's lacrosse team welcomed the Transylvania Pioneers t Faught Stadium on Saturday (Apr. 17) morning for a Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) showdown.
Bayleigh Riddle extended her goal scoring streak to five games and senior goalkeeper Courtney Jones matched her career-high with 24 saves in a 22-1 Transylvania win.
Riddle's goal came with 15:27 to go in the first half when she cut into the attacking area and fired home a pass from Anya Glodowski for her team-leading 13th goal of the year. But that would be all the offense the Grizzlies would muster on the morning, finishing the day with nine shot attempts.
Glodowski's assist gives her a team-high 13 for the year and she also extended her point streak to five games. Devyn Kerr had a team-high three ground balls and Riddle led the team with three draw controls.
Franklin closes out the regular season next Saturday (Apr. 24) afternoon with a home match against the Mount St. Joseph Lions. Start time from Faught Stadium is set for 1:00 p.m.
