FRANKLIN, Ind. (April 2, 2017) – The Franklin College women's lacrosse team earned a 19-10 win Sunday afternoon against visiting Trine University.

The Grizzlies jumped to an early 9-2 first-half lead, led 11-4 at halftime and stayed in control the rest of the way.

Senior Lexi Ingram scored a team-high five goals for Franklin. Senior Hannah Grow contributed four goals and junior Morgan McIntosh and junior Jess Silva had three apiece. Sophomore Brooke Hughes added two goals and junior Abby Stayer had one.

Senior goal keeper Kayanna Wolter had six saves to pick up the win for Franklin.

The Grizzlies take a 2-2 record into their April 5 conference opener Mount St. Joseph.
