Franklin Men's Basketball falls to Manchester

North Manchester, IN.- The Franklin College Men's Basketball team lost 79-72 Wednesday night in a hard-fought game at Manchester College. The Grizzlies are now 1-3 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and 4-7 overall.

Franklin was led by senior guard Aaron Mann and freshman guard Braxton Day, who both scored 19 points for the Grizzlies. Senior guard Robbie Prather contributed 13 points for Franklin.

Junior center John Beineke scored 11 points and led Franklin with 11 rebounds.

Manchester won its first HCAC game of the season. Sophomore guard Adrian Johnson led the Spartans with 21 points. Senior Guard Tyler Alexander scored 18 points and led the team with nine rebounds.

The Grizzlies will be back in action Saturday in a men and women's double header against Mount St. Joseph at the Spurlock Center. The men's game will start at 3 p.m.
