Box Score Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College women's lacrosse team ended its non-conference schedule with an 18-2 loss to Baldwin Wallace University on Sunday afternoon from Faught Stadium.
Senior Presleigh Hobbs (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) found the back of the net for the team's two goals in the second half.
Baldwin Wallace (3-3) scored 13 goals in the first half and outscored the Grizzlies 5-3 in the second 30-minute half.
Hobbs scored her first goal of the match after receiving a pass from senior Paige Clark (Jefferson, Ohio/Jefferson Area) at the 12:19 mark. Junior Hannah Grow (Morton, Ill./Morton) provided the assist on Hobbs second tally of the match with 5:30 remaining.
Junior Lexi Ingram (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South) and Hobbs each recorded two shots.
Franklin stands 2-2 on the season and begins Ohio River Women's Lacrosse Conference play at Hanover College on Tuesday, March 22, at 5 p.m. from Hanover, Indiana. Live statistics of the match will be available.
