Box Score Lexington, Ky. - The Franklin College women's lacrosse team had its two-match winning streak halted in a 17-5 loss at Transylvania University in Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) play on Tuesday.
Franklin (3-6, 3-4 ORLC) featured a balanced offensive attack with five players finding the back of the net. Sophomore Hannah Grow (Morton, Ill./Morton) scored one goal and added an assist. She tied for team-high honors by attempting three shots in the match.
Juniors Presleigh Hobbs (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) and Paige Clark (Jefferson, Ohio/Jefferson Area) tallied one goal. Senior Torie Zeiner (Clayton, Ind./Cascade) and freshman Abby Stayer (Dayton, Ohio/Chaminade Julienne Catholic) rounded out the scoring effort with each accounting for one goal.
Senior Audrey Wilson (Tipton, Ind./Tipton) caused a team-high two turnovers by Transylvania.
Franklin returns to action on Saturday, April 18 at noon when it hosts Thiel College (Pennsylvania) at Faught Stadium. It is the program's first Senior Day, honoring Zeiner and Wilson prior to the match.
