Sam Linette

Sam Linette began at Franklin College in the fall of 2024 and serves as an instructor of exercise science as well as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for Franklin College. Linette is the primary strength coach for men’s and women’s Soccer, men’s and women’s volleyball, baseball and softball.

Previously, Linette coached baseball and strength and conditioning at Anderson University, and he was the strength coach at DePauw University for multiple sports. He began his career as the head assistant strength and conditioning coach at Wofford College. Linette most recently served as a high school strength and conditioning coach while also teaching advanced strength and conditioning classes in Indianapolis.

Linette graduated from DePauw University with a degree in kinesiology and exercise science, being inducted into both the National Honors Society for Kinesiology as well as the National Collegiate Athlete Honors Society. He served an internship with St. Vincent Sports Performance, gaining experience training athletes at the NFL Combine, USA Track and Field, USA Swimming and Diving, NASCAR and others. Linette played collegiate baseball for the Tigers, lettered all four years, and was nominated as an ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American his senior season.

Linette lives with his wife and two kids east of Indy, where he also runs his own sports performance and fitness business. He is certified USAW, CF-L1 and soon to be CSCS. He’s an avid outdoorsman, loves learning people and culture, and appreciates a good cup of joe.
