Averaged 4.2 rebounds and ranked second on the team with 63 assists and 56 steals ... Had 15 points, six rebounds, a season-high five assists and two steals against Bluffton (Jan. 25) ... Scored in double figures in 10 of the team's last 11 games ... Poured in a career-high 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting against Manchester (Feb. 19) ... Scored 34 points in Franklin's NCAA Tournament games, including 18 in a win over Denison (March 7)

2023-24: Saw action in 23 games a freshman, making a pair of starts ... Got his first career start in a win at Defiance (Jan. 13) ... Averaged 3.2 points per game on 37.1% shooting ... Finished with a season-high 15 points against Anderson (Jan. 20) ... Had season hights with four rebounds and four assists against Dominican (Nov. 25).

Personal: Son of Ross and Heather Matthews ... Has three siblings (Dash, Olivia and McKenzie) ... An all-conference and honorable mention All-State player at Hamilton, where he was also a District 15 All-Star and second team All-Cincinnati.
