Cyleigh Wilson is in her second season as an assistant coach for the Franklin College women’s basketball team. She oversees recruiting, opponent scouting, film breakdown and analysis, player development, and the team's academics.
In her first season, Cyleigh helped guide the Grizzlies to a 21-7 record, the program’s first 20-win season since 2013. The team led the HCAC in seven statistical categories (points per game, field goal %, 3-point %, turnover margin, assist/turnover ratio, assists per game, opponent 3-point %) and finished in the top 50 nationally in six categories (A/TO ratio, assists per game, total points, points per game, 3-point % and turnover margin). The team reached the HCAC Tournament championship game for the first time in 14 years. Cyleigh coached and helped develop two all-conference honorees (Jordan Coon and Payton Seay), including a first team All-HCAC, All-Region, and All-District selection in Coon.
Before coming to Franklin, Cyleigh built a record-setting playing career at Elizabethtown College from 2020 to 2025, serving as team captain for two seasons and helping to lead the Blue Jays to three NCAA Tournament appearances, ending a 20-year tournament drought. One of the most accurate shooters in Division III history, she is one of only two players all-time nationally to make more than 245 three-pointers while shooting 45% from beyond the arc. She is the school and conference all-time leader in 3-point percentage and makes (both season and career) and also holds the single-game conference record of nine made three-pointers. She ranked in the top six in the nation for 3-point percentage in three seasons, finished 11th all-time nationally in career 3-point percentage, and joined the 1,000-point club.
Cyleigh pairs that playing experience with a strong background in player development and analytics. She earned a Basketball Analytics Certification through Sports Management Worldwide under the mentorship of Dean Oliver, participated in the WBCA “So You Want to Be a Coach” program, and has worked as a skills trainer, AAU coach, and Point Guard College instructor since 2020.
