Payton's Career Highs

2019-20: Named Second Team All-HCAC...started 25 games for the Grizzlies, averaging 12.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game for the HCAC regular season champions...led the conference in field goal percentage at 64.7% and finished third in rebounds per game...recorded three games of 20 points, against Principia (11/16), Anderson (1/11) and Earlham (1/25)...pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds in a win over Spalding (11/20)...reached double digit point totals in 20 games and recorded seven double-doubles...named HCAC Player of the Week for the first time on Jan. 13.

2018-19: Appeared in all 27 games, starting the final seven contests...averaged 7.4 points per game and led the HCAC with a 68.5% shooting percentage...set a then career-high with 19 points against Earlham (1/12) and matched it later in the year against Transylvania (2/13)...chipped in with 10 points and grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds and a career-high four steals in the HCAC Tournament win over Rose-Hulman (2/22).

Prior to Franklin: Joins the Grizzlies after one year at Anderson University.
