Mak Krause

Mak Krause just completed his second season at Franklin College as an assistant coach. He joined the staff prior to the 2019-20 season after graduating from the University of Florida.

In Krause’s two years with the Grizzlies they posted a combined record of 26-15. In this most recent season with a condensed schedule,  Franklin finished with a 9-6  record and won the HCAC Conference Tournament Championship for the first time since 2008. During the 19-20 season Franklin finished 17-9 overall and posting a 12-5 conference record gaining them a share of the HCAC regular season conference championship. 

Over the course of two years Krause has aided in the development of six all conference selections, three HCAC all tournament team selections and the 2021 HCAC tournament MVP. 

Prior to arriving at Franklin, Krause attended the University of Florida from 2014-19. During his time at Florida, Krause was a part of the basketball team starting out as a student manager and then being added to the team as a walk on and eventually awarded full scholarship. As a player, Krause was a member of two 20 win seasons and two NCAA tournament teams. Krause received his Bachelors degree in Telecommunications and Masters degree in Sport Management.
