Named a co-captain and All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference performer...three-year letterman.

2012: Named first-team All-HCAC after ranking second on the team with 11.5 tackles for loss...recorded 6.5 sacks, including two sacks in a home win over Bluffton (11/3)...had a sack in six of the 12 games...helped lead defensive unit post three straight league shutouts...made a career-high eight stops in a road conference victory over Mount St. Joseph (10/6)...had a forced fumble and fumble recovery in team's NCAA Division III first-round playoff victory at Adrian (11/17)...also forced a fumble against Bluffton and recovered a fumble in season opening game against Mount Union (9/1).

2011: Appeared in 12 games along the defensive line as a sophomore...helped lead defensive effort with five tackles in a victory over Thomas More in NCAA Division III first-round playoff game (11/19)...made a season-high six tackles in a home HCAC win against Anderson (10/29)...recorded a sack in victories against Defiance (9/24) and Rose-Hulman (10/8)...had 27 tackles, including 5.5 stops in the backfield and two sacks.

2010: Backup defensive end…appeared in six games…had eight tackles, highlighted by a half sack against Anderson (10/30).

High School: Named first-team All-District as a junior and senior at DeSales High School...received Defensive Most Valuable Player Honors in 2008 and 2009.

Personal: Majors in Health Sciences with a minor in Coaching and Fitness...son of Norma J. Cordell...Lambda Chi Alpha.
