Rosselot enters his first season with the Grizzlies after being brought on in the spring of 2020 as an assistant football coach while heading up the strength and conditioning program at Franklin..
In the four seasons as defensive coordinator at Hiram College, his unit has had finishes in the top half of the conference in multiple statistical categories including; Run Defense, Pass Defense, Opponent Redzone Percentage, Opponent 3rd Down Percentage, Forced Fumbles, and others. Â
Rosselot has also shown great ability to develop players as eight players have earned All-NCAC honors, including one first-teamer (defensive tackle Zayd Maybin), two second-team selections (defensive back D.D. Fleetion and linebacker Kyle Burchett) and multiple honorable mention honorees including defensive lineman Horace Johnson, defensive back Eduardo Gonzalez, and offensive lineman Antwand Hill. He also has had six seniors invited to play in postseason all-star games, including Burchett, Mabin, Fleetion, Hinton-McCoy, Johnson, and Winston Webb in his four seasons as defensive coordinator.
In his first year at the helm of the Terrier defense, Hiram ranked fifth in the North Coast Athletic Conference in opponent rushing yards per game. The Terriers also collected seven fumbles on the season, tying for fourth in the conference. In addition, under his tutelage, four members of the Hiram defense earned postseason honors, including Second-Team AFCA All-American linebacker Kyle Burchett. Burchett earned the program’s first All-American distinction since 1999.
Rosselot was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2016. He began his coaching career with the Terriers as the defensive line and strength & conditioning coach in 2013, before spending two seasons as the offensive line and strength & conditioning coach from 2014-15.
Under Rosselot’s tutelage, the Terriers’ offensive line ranked first in the NCAC in sacks allowed in both 2014 and 2015, with an All-NCAC selection in Antwand Hill.
Prior to joining Terriers, Rosselot spent the 2012 season working for the Cincinnati Bengals in their player personnel and game day experience departments.
A graduate of Mount Saint Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio, Rosselot was a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference scholar-athlete for the football program.
Rosselot earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Mount Saint Joseph in Dec. 2011, and his master’s degree in sports administration from Xavier University in Dec. 2012.
