Biography

2013: Led pitching staff with eight victories...started nine games, but tied for team high with 15 pitching appearances...recorded one of the team's three saves...struck out 43 batters compared to 19 walks...tossed 67.1 innings for team that finished third in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and advanced to the championship round of the conference tournament.

2012: Went 1-0 with four starts and eight total mound appearances...tossed 19.2 innings.

2011: Won two games and made five starts for team that won the HCAC tournament title and made the program's first NCAA Division III regional appearance...recorded 34 strikeouts in 42.1 innings as a freshman...appeared in 11 games and held opponents to a .274 batting average.

Personal: Majors in Socology and Criminal Justice...grandson of Craig and Carol Mallett.
