Biography

2017: Named Second Team All-HCAC after recording 28 tackles and 1.5 sacks while starting all 11 games on the defensive line...recorded a career-high seven tackles against Thomas More (9/2)...finished with six stops, including a career-best five solo tackles against Rose-Hulman (10/21).

2016: Appeared in nine games as a sophomore, finishing the year with 24 tackles.

2015: Recorded four tackles on the season, including a career-high two stops in home win against Defiance (11/7)...tallied a tackle for loss against Mount St. Joseph (10/17)...made collegiate debut against NCAA Division I Butler (9/12)...added one tackle against Earlham (10/10)...appeared in four games as a freshman.

High School: Named to the Associated Press All-State honorable mention team as a senior at Carroll High School…earned team’s Defensive Player of the Year award as a junior and senior.

Personal: Majors in exericse science and athletic training…son of Mike and Jennifer Prater...Lambda Chi Alpha.
