Biography

2018: Transitioned from the outfield to the mound for his junior season, making five appearances that totaled 6 1/3 innings.

2017: Made 27 appearances, batting .218 with one home run, eight RBI, three doubles, six stolen bases and 21 runs scored...went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs driven in against Albion (3/4)...cranked a solo home run in a win over Transylvania (3/25).

2016: Appeared in 36 games as a freshman...batted .262 and hit two home runs... scored 29 runs and stole 10 bases...recorded 10 multi-hit games...led the team with four triples...recorded three hits with a triple and two stolen bases in a victory over Capital (3/20)...picked up four hits, including a double and first career home run against Defiance (4/10)...fielded .979 while patrolling centerfield.

High School: Named to the all-conference team at Greencastle High School following junior and senior seasons...holds high school record for triples in one season...named team's player of the year as a sophomore and senior.

Personal: Majors in sociology with a minor in criminology...son of Travis and Tina Nicholson.
