Franklin women's soccer had its Saturday afternoon match against visiting Wittenberg delayed and eventually suspended due to multiple lightning strikes in the area.
The visiting Tigers held a 2-0 lead, having scored once in each half, before play was halted with 32:41 remaining.
Repeated flashes of lightning eventually pushed the potential restart window past the NCAA-allowed three hours from kickoff.
Coaches from the two schools will decide Monday whether or not to resume or replay the match.
The Grizzlies (1-4-1) will play next at Wilmington on Wednesday (Sept. 24).
