The Franklin College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were both honored on Tuesday by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), which recognized both eams as recipients of the CSCAA Scholar All-America award.
 
Head coach Zach Rayce, his staff and the athletes were named as two teams that "achieve excellence in the classroom while competing at the highest levels in the pool."
 
The CSCAA also expressed its gratitude to Franklin College for its overall institutional support of swimming and diving.
 
The Grizzlies won the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's championship for a seventh consecutive year last winter, with the men finishing second in the conference. In addition, seven members of the program were HCAC Academic All-Conference selections.
