Looking to build on its first HCAC victory, Franklin men's soccer traveled to Bluffton Sunday afternoon in search of its second.

The Beavers, though, dashed any such hopes, picking up a 3-0 victory.

The Grizzlies (2-12, 1-5 HCAC) survived an early Bluffton flurry, with goalkeeper Easton Terry making five saves in the first 13 minutes of play. Franklin then had a handful of chances to get on the board first, including a shot on frame by Theo Sasso with 19:21 left in the first half, but the Beavers wound up taking the lead just over two minutes later on a Nick Meyer tally.

An Alex Brown goal with 9:44 to go in the half gave Bluffton a 2-0 advantage. The Grizzlies got a shot on goal from Ylljon Emerllahu midway through the 43rd minute but were turned away.

Franklin took five more shots after the break, but none were on target. The Beavers closed the scoring with a Leonardo Campos goal in the 66th minute.

Terry made 10 saves in a losing effort for the Grizzlies, who will be at home Wednesday night against Earlham.
