OBERLIN, Ohio — The Franklin men's cross country team capped off its regular season by competing in the Inter-Regional hosted by Oberlin College.
The Grizzlies finished 18th out of 26 teams on the 8-kilometer course, led by a 20th-place individual finish from sophomore
William Hirsch (26.06.50, a personal best).
Senior
Riley Devening crossed second for the team and 95th overall in 27.21.50. Fellow senior
Jonah Decker crossed in 27:30.60 to take 101st. Sophomore
Zachary Schroeder finished fourth for the team and 126th, achieving a new personal best of 27.57.60. Rounding out the scoring in 158th was sophomore
Kai Sheley with a time of 28:29.40.
Franklin will take a weekend off before hosting the HCAC Championships on Nov. 1 at Blue River Memorial Park. The men's race is slated to start at noon.
