BACK IN THE SADDLE
Playing at Faught Stadium for the second Saturday in a row, Franklin welcomes the Spartans of Manchester to town. The Grizzlies have won the last three meetings in the series, including a 49-0 thumping on the road last season.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Rose-Hulman spoiled Franklin's Homecoming festivities with a fourth-quarter rally, storming back from a 21-point deficit to pull out a 35-34 victory in the final moments. The Engineer comeback erased what had been a 28-7 Griz lead in the middle of the third quarter.
 
GETTING OFFENSIVE
Franklin has put together back-to-back five-touchdown games, putting up 34 points at Muskingum and then again last week against Rose-Hulman. Quarterback Marshall Kmiecik has been steering the ship, throwing for a total of 675 yards and five TDs over those two games while also adding three more scores on the ground. Four different receivers have pulled in touchdown receptions in the two October games.

The Griz defense has gotten more opportunistic of late, De'Marreia Stephens and Haidyn Bulmer each intercepted passes at Muskingum, while Devonte Brown and Jacob Joiner had fumble recoveries. Brayden Baker and Haden Durnil had picks against Rose-Hulman.

League leaders Bluffton and Hanover both host conference games Saturday, with the Beavers taking on Mount St. Joseph and the Panthers taking on Anderson. Rose-Hulman steps outside of the league, traveling to face Baldwin-Wallace.
