CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Franklin men's swimming and diving team kicked off a busy weekend of competition on Friday (Jan. 17) night with a dual matchup against the Wabash Little Giants.
Franklin fell to the Little Giants by a 226-67 score, dropping their head-to-head record on the year to 4-3 overall.
The Grizzlies claimed their lone event win of the night in the 200 backstroke, with
Will Johnson taking home first place honors. Johnson would add a runner-up finish in the 100 backstroke as well.
Both
Sam Hittel and
JC Chappell claimed a pair of runner-up finishes. Hittel took second in both the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke while Chappell placed second in both the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke.
