FRANKLIN – The Franklin women's tennis team welcomed the Capital Comets to Grizzly Park on Saturday (Sept. 21) afternoon for a non-conference matchup.
 
The Grizzlies (1-5) dropped their third straight match of the fall, with the Comets (1-2) taking a 7-0 decision. After sweeping the three doubles matches by 6-1 scores, the Comets finished off the afternoon by taking the singles matches in straight sets.
 
Franklin is off until Saturday, Oct. 5 when they hit the road for their conference opener against the Transylvania Pioneers. First serve is set for 11:00 a.m.
