FRANKLIN – The Franklin men's basketball team welcomed the Mount St. Joseph Lions to the Spurlock Center on Wednesday (Jan. 31) night for game two of a three-game homestand.

Lynn King had a game-high 21 points for the Grizzlies (10-10, 8-5 HCAC), but the Grizzlies had a hard time getting into a rhythm offensively all night and a late game run from the Lions (5-15, 5-8 HCAC) led to a 63-58 Mount win.
How it Happened
Franklin used an 11-3 run to take their largest lead of the night at 18-11 following a three from
Malachi Archey at the 13:21 mark in the first half. The Grizzlies would keep the Lions at bay for the remainder of the opening half and take a 33-27 lead into the break.
The Grizzlies stayed in front until the final four minutes, when the offense dried up and the Lions closed out the game on a 13-3 run to snatch the win away.

-King went 9-for-14 from the floor and grabbed five rebounds.
-Franklin shot 39.7% (23-for-58) from the floor, going 6-for-21 from three and 6-for-10 at the line.
-The Grizzlies held the Lions to 38.8% (19-for-49) shooting but the Mount held an edge from three (9-for-21) and at the line (16-for-20).
-Jessie Morgan had a team-high eight rebounds for Franklin.
