CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Franklin men's basketball extended their winning streak on Wednesday (Jan. 10) night, picking up a hard-fought 62-56 road win over the Mount St. Joseph Lions.

Braden Flanagan led the Grizzlies (7-7, 5-2 HCAC) with 20 points and and three steals, as Franklin grinded out a low-scoring affair with the Lions (4-10, 4-3 HCAC) to run their winning streak to three straight.
The Grizzlies trailed for only 35 seconds of action and led by as many as 11 in the game. Franklin shot 42.9% (21-for-49) from the field with the Lions going 47.6% (20-for-42) from the field. Franklin knocked down seven threes to five for the Lions and went 13-for-17 at the line.
Jesse Morgan led Franklin with five boards to go along with eight points.
Ryan Bostic added nine points for the Grizzlies to support Flanagan, who set a new career-high in scoring and played a team-high 33:45 on the night.
Franklin wraps up their road trip on Saturday (Jan. 13) afternoon, heading to Defiance for a meeting with the Yellow Jackets. Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m.
