CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Franklin men's soccer team turned in a dominant performance on Saturday (Sept. 30) night, powering past Mount St. Joseph for a 4-0 win to run their unbeaten streak to four games.
 
Four different Grizzlies (3-5-2, 2-0 HCAC) found the back of the net and Franklin peppered the Lions' (1-9, 0-2 HCAC) defense with 25 total shot attempts on the night.
 
How it Happened
Franklin broke the scoreless deadlock in the 29^th minute with Dany Escamilla weaving through The Mount defense and stuffing a shot inside the right post for his second goal of the season. In the 33^rd minute, Eddy Yousak delivered a perfect corner kick that was headed home by Kameron Darnold for his first career goal and a 2-0 lead at the half for the away side.
 
The Griz kept the pressure up in the second half and added to their lead in the 60^th minute when Theo Sasso fired one into the bottom left corner for the first goal of his career. Jon Moore capped the scoring in the 65^th minute, finishing off a centering pass from Eddy Yousak to give him goals in three straight games and a team-high five for the year.
