LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Franklin women's soccer team continued their four-game road trip on Sunday (Sept. 10) afternoon with a matchup against the Spalding Golden Eagles.
Franklin (1-1-3) earned their second straight clean sheet and fourth shutout of the year against the Golden Eagles (1-1-1), taking a second straight scoreless draw into the final game of their road trip.

Makenna Mundy was sharp all afternoon, especially in the first 10 minutes when she turned back three Spalding shots on target. Mundy finished the afternoon with seven saves in total. Franklin generated a pair of shots on target on the afternoon with Maddie Claybrooke and
Meghan Moses having the team's best chances of the day.
Franklin closed out their road trip on Wednesday (Sept. 13), when they travel to Angola, Ind. for a meeting with the Trine Thunder. Kick-off is set for 4:30 p.m.
