FRANKLIN – The Franklin men's swimming and diving team welcomed conference opponents Bluffton and Manchester to Franklin Middle School for a Saturday (Nov. 4) afternoon tri-meet and the team's first home contests of the season.
The Grizzlies rolled to a pair of convincing dual wins over their conference rivals, beating Manchester 208-80 and taking a 224-12 win over Bluffton.
Franklin's day started and ended with wins in relay races.

JC Chappell,
Luke Becker and
Zachary Jackson-Blaine opened things up with a winning time of 3:40.41 in the 400 medley relay and
Kosmo Wojack,
Eli Botts,
Elliott Rosswurm and Jackson-Blaine finished the day with a 200 free relay win in 1:30.76.
Burke won three individual events throughout the day, taking the top spot in the 100 backstroke (54.01), 200 backstroke (2:01.06) and 500 free (5:11.48). Wojack also claimed a hat trick of victories, finishing atop the field in the 1000 free (10:39.00), 200 fly (2:03.62) and 100 fly (55.77).
Freshman
Kaden Cummins earned first place in both the 50 free (22.80) and 200 free (1:51.92) with senior
JC Chappell winning the 200 breaststroke (2:22.74) and the 200 IM (55.97). Jackson-Blaine claimed an individual win of his own in the 100 free with a time of 47.52.
On the diving board, senior Cam Baker claimed both sessions on the one-meter board. The Shelbyville, Ind.-native claimed the five-dive session with 179.80 points and won the six-dive session with 239.10 points.

Franklin is back in the pool next Friday (Nov. 10) night for a dual matchup with the Centre Colonels. Start time from Danville, Ky. is set for 6:30 p.m.
