FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin women's tennis team hosted their first conference matchup of the year on Saturday (Sept. 24), taking on the Transylvania Pioneers at Grizzly Park.
 
The Grizzlies (2-3, 1-1 HCAC) were able to secure an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles from the team of Kinley Harmon and Brenna Atchison. But the rest of the match was all Pioneers (3-0, 3-0 HCAC) left town with an 8-1 victory.
 
Franklin continues their season next Saturday (Oct. 1), hitting the road to take on the Rose-Hulman Engineers in conference play. First serve is set for noon.
