FRANKLIN, Ind. - With tip-off of the 2022-23 season less than two months away, the Franklin women's basketball team rolled out their season schedule on Friday (Sept. 23) afternoon. A total of 25 regular season contests are on tap for the Grizzlies under first year head coach Jessica Johnson, with 11 contests set to take place inside Franklin's Spurlock Center. Additionally, Franklin will play one in-season exhibition game at NCAA Division I opponent Bellarmine on Dec. 12. 

The regular season tips off on Friday, Nov. 11 with Franklin hosting Wittenberg University at 7:00 p.m. The Grizzlies will play two non-conference games in front of their home fans, with the other taking place on Nov. 22 against Albion. Other non-conference matchups will see Franklin face off with Principia (Nov. 19), Olivet (Dec. 7) and Eureka (Dec. 28). The Grizzlies will also travel to Nashville, Tenn. on Dec. 19-20 for the Nashville Pre-Christmas Classic where they will meet St. Mary's (IN) and Simpson College. 

Conference play tips off on Nov. 30 with Franklin hosting defending Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) champions Transylvania. The early leg of HCAC play will see the Griz travel to Defiance on Dec. 3 before hosting Manchester on Dec. 10. League play resumes on New Year's Eve and the rest of the home schedule will see FC take on Earlham (Dec. 31), Rose-Hulman (Jan. 4), Anderson (Jan. 7), Defiance (Jan. 21), Hanover (Feb. 8), Bluffton (Feb. 11) and Mt. St. Joseph (Feb. 14). 

In addition to the Defiance game, HCAC road matchups will take place at Hanover (Jan. 11), Bluffton (Jan. 14), Mt. St. Joseph (Jan. 18), Earlham (Jan. 25), Manchester (Jan. 28), Transylvania (Feb. 1), Anderson (Feb. 4) and Rose-Hulman.
