FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin women's tennis team opened their final week of regular season competition on Wednesday (Oct. 5) afternoon, taking on the Anderson Ravens at Grizzly Park.
The Grizzlies (2-6, 1-4 HCAC) dropped an 8-1 decision to the Ravens (6-3, 4-1 HCAC). Franklin's sole point of the afternoon came in the No. 5 singles spot courtesy of freshman
Bethany Burton. The Edinburgh, Ind.-native rolled in straight sets, taking a 6-2, 6-1 victory over AU's Claire Hannaford.
Franklin closes out the regular season on Saturday (Oct. 8) morning, taking on the Earlham Quakers at Grizzly Park. First serve is set for 10:30 a.m.
