HANOVER, Ind. - The Franklin College women's tennis team wrapped up a back-to-back weekend slate of matches on Sunday (Oct. 2), taking on the Hanover Panthers.
The Grizzlies (2-5, 1-3 HCAC) battled the Panthers (3-3, 3-2 HCAC) tough up and down the lineup, but Hanover was able to escape each matchup and take a 9-0 win. The Grizzlies dropped the three doubles matches by a total of eight points and three of the singles matches were decided by a third set tie-breaker.Â
Franklin returns to action on Wednesday (Oct. 5) afternoon, hosting the Anderson Ravens in the first of two home matches during homecoming week. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m.Â
