RECAP | Men's Swimming & Diving Takes Part In Indiana Intercollegiates on Saturday

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Franklin College women's swimming & diving team faced off against some of the state's top competition on Saturday (Oct. 22) at the Indiana Intercollegiate Meet. Teams from NCAA Division I, Division III and the NAIA were in attendance at the meet on the campus of Purdue University.
 
The Grizzly men finished fifth overall at the meet and second DIII teams, picking up 83 points on the day.
 
Notable finishes from the meet included:
  • Campbell Coyle: seventh in 100 free (48.90) and 20th in 200 free (1:49.45)
  • Jack Burke: 15th in 100 backstroke (53.65) and 17th in 100 IM (48.90)
  • Kosmo Wojack 18th in 100 butterfly (52.85) and 22nd in 100 breaststroke (1:01.38)
  • Tyler Wood: 14th in 500 free (5:07.13)
  • Gauge Creech: 12th on 1-meter board (228.90) and 12th on 3-meter board (237.40)
  • 200 medley relay of Burke, Wood, Wojack & Coyle: 8th place in 1:38.89 and tops among DIII teams.
The Grizzlies are off for two weeks to prepare for their first dual match of the season, which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 5 in Illinois against the Wheaton Thunder. Start time from Wheaton is set for 1:00 p.m. eastern time.
