Box Score TERRE HATUE, Ind. – The Franklin College women's basketball team resumed a seven-game road trip on Wednesday (Jan. 5) night, taking on the Rose-Hulman Engineers.
The Grizzlies (5-7, 3-2, HCAC) suffered a 69-31 setback to the Engineers (6-4, 4-1 HCAC).
How it Happened
Early buckets from Kayla Bruner and Jessica Nix got the Grizzlies on the board, but the offense would struggle from the field the rest of the opening period. Franklin went the final 6:54 of the period without a field goal, trailing 21-6 after a quarter. The Grizzlies spent the rest of the night playing from behind, struggling to get going offensively all night long.
