Box Score WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Franklin College men's soccer team hit the road for their final non-conference tune-up and first of four straight away from home with a meeting against the Wilmington Quakers on Wednesday (Sept. 22) night.
Sophomore goalkeeper Ian Rowe earned his second start of the year and set a new career-high with 10 saves on the night. But the Grizzlies (2-5) would fall behind early and play catch up to a Quakers (6-0-1) squad that would take a 3-0 win.
How it Happened
Less than five minutes into the match, Wilmington capitalized on a penalty kick and would add insurance goals in the 14th and 43rd minutes, respectively. Franklin wouldn't generate five shot attempts in the second half, with Jon Moore's lone shot of the evening the only one on target.

-Moore, Noah Harris, Issac Gleitz, Colin Haveman and Dany Escamilla all finished with shot attempts on the night.
-Rowe's 10 saves marked the second time this season a Grizzly keeper turned away double digit shots. Elliott Clark made 13 saves in the season opener against Wabash.
