Box Score FRANKLIN, Ind. – For the first time this fall, the Franklin volleyball team suited up to defend their home floor when they hosted the Berea Mountaineers for the second time in four days on Wednesday (Sept. 21) night.
Playing in front of an excited home crowd for the first time since 2019, the Grizzlies (7-6) extended their winning streak to three with a sweep of the Mountaineers (6-7), 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.
How it Happened

Franklin raced out to a 5-1 lead in the second set, but Berea was able to fight back and take the lead with a 6-1 run of their own. The turning point would come with five straight Grizzly points that put the home side ahead for good and forced a Berea timeout. Alyssa Zemlyak put the finishing touches on the set with a big kill to put Franklin up two games.
