Box Score DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Franklin men's soccer team hit the road for the first time on Saturday (Mar. 6) afternoon, heading to Ohio to take on the Defiance Yellow Jackets.
The Grizzlies (0-2) were shut down by the Yellow Jackets (2-0) all afternoon with Defiance claiming a 2-0 win.
How it Happened
Defiance found the back of the net on their second shot attempt of the day with Maxwell Alvarado burying a Juan Olvera feed. With a man advantage early in the second half, the Yellow Jackets doubled their lead in the 60th minute and despite losing a man of their own to a red card later in the match, Defiance was able to hold on.

-Junior goalkeeper Elliott Clark made his debut between the pipes on Saturday, stopping five Defiance shots.
