RICHMOND, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer team looked to snap a two-game slide on Saturday (Mar. 20) afternoon with a trip to take on the Earlham Quakers in conference action.

The Grizzlies (2-2, 2-2 HCAC) dominated all match long, launching 20 shot attempts at the Earlham (1-4-1) cage. The 20th attempt proved to be the winner, as Elaina Page buried the winner in the 97th minute to give Franklin a 1-0 overtime triumph.

How it Happened
Franklin attempted eight shot attempts in each of the two 45-minute halves with nine of those attempts on target, but each one was turned aside by Earlham goalkeeper Maria Young.

The Grizzlies let another four shots rip in overtime before Page broke the deadlock. Sophomore Abby Holmer controlled the ball near the 30-yard mark and sent a perfect through pass to Page, who streaked down the left side and put a shot inside the near post for her second goal of the year and first golden goal winner.
