Box Score

FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer team welcomed the Rose-Hulman Engineers to Faught Stadium on Wednesday (Oct. 6) night for a meeting between the two in-state rivals.

The Grizzlies (2-8, 1-2 HCAC) dropped their second straight contest with the Engineers (6-2-1, 2-1 HCAC) leaving town with a 4-0 win. Rose potted two goals in each half before the game was called with less than nine minutes to play due to lightning.

Shots were 17-2 in the Engineers' favor. Riley Rice had five saves in goal for Franklin in just under 70 minutes of action. Makenna Mundy made her third career appearance between the pipes, playing 20:15 on the night.

Franklin is back in action on Saturday (Oct. 9) afternoon, when they host the Earlham Quakers to close out a brief two-game homestand. The opening whistle is set for 1:00 p.m.
