Box Score FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer team put on a dominant display in their final regular season home match, blanking the Defiance Yellow Jackets 5-0 on Senior Day at Faught Stadium.
The Grizzlies (5-10, 4-4 HCAC) got goals from four different players with three recording career firsts. Franklin out-shot the Yellow Jackets (2-12, 0-8 HCAC) 31-0 on the afternoon, earning their second straight win and punching their ticket to next week's conference tournament.
How it Happened
Just 1:37 in, Franklin took a lead they would hold all afternoon when Lilly Haines buried a feed from Elaina Page. In the 16th minute, the two connected again with Page finding Haines for her second goal of the day, making it a two-goal game.
Abby Hensley added to the lead in the 32nd minute, hammering home her first career goal after a nice set-up feed from Claire Hurley. Hensley added a pair of helpers in the second half, assisting on Abby Holmer's 62nd minute goal and Page's marker in the 77th minute.

-Holmer topped all players with eight shot attempts to go along with her first career goal.
-Before the opening kick, the Grizzlies honored senior defenders Mackenzie Yoder and Madison Short. Yoder collected her first career point, assisting on Page's second half goal.
-Riley Rice and Makenna Mundy combined to earn the clean sheet, with Mundy earning a share of her first career shutout.
