Box Score FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College volleyball team welcomed the Manchester Spartans to the Spurlock Center on Wednesday (Oct. 20) night for a big league showdown.
The Grizzlies (10-13, 2-4 HCAC) dropped a four-set matchup to the Spartans (11-11, 3-3 HCAC), 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, 25-22. Before the start of the match, the Grizzlies honored Allison Thompson and Morgan Curtis on Senior Night.
How it Happened
Down by a game, the Grizzlies got back to even with their best set of the night. Franklin did their best work late in the set, taking the final seven points to even things up with two kills from Sara Allen and Chloe Holder combined with three Spartan attack errors making up the run.
However, the momentum would not carry over as Manchester's offense proved to be the difference over the final two sets.

-The Grizzlies hit .110 for the night with Miranda Wilson leading all player with 13 kills. Joining her in double figures for the first time in her career was junior Alivia Brown, who put down 11 kills on 32 attempts.
-Billie Jarrett and Savanna VanHoy tied for the team lead with 21 assists each.
-Thompson and Maddie Holubik tied for the team lead with 13 digs, with Thompson's trio of aces leading the team.
