Box Score FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer team hit the road for the first time in conference play, heading north to take on the Anderson Ravens on Saturday (Oct. 2) afternoon.
Sophomore goalkeeper Riley Rice was solid in net, stopping 11 shots on a day where she was under siege. The Grizzlies (2-7, 1-1 HCAC) saw an 11-match winning streak against the Ravens (3-5, 2-0 HCAC) end with a 3-0 decision.
How it Happened
The game was played in Grizzly territory for most of the afternoon, with the Ravens netting goals in the 26th, 54th and 64th minutes, respectively.
Rice matched a career-high in saves for a game, giving her double digit save totals in two of her eight starts this season.
