Box Score 2 FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin College women's soccer team continued their conference schedule with two road matches against Hanover and Mount St. Joseph last week.
The Grizzlies dropped the opening match to league-leading Hanover on Wednesday (Oct. 13) by a 7-0 score. On Saturday (Oct. 16) night against MSJ, a first half goal from the Lions ended up being the difference maker in a 1-0 match.
Sophomore goalkeeper Riley Rice made four saves in each match, with freshman Makenna Mundy coming on to stop three shots in the Hanover match.
Up next for the Grizzlies are their final two home games of the year, the first coming on Wednesday (Oct. 20) night against the Bluffton Beavers. Kick-off from Faught Stadium is set for 7:00 p.m.
