HANOVER, Ind. (Jan. 18, 2017) – The Franklin College women's basketball lost 67-46 Wednesday night at Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Hanover.

With the loss, the Grizzlies fall to 7-8 overall and 5-4 in the HCAC.

Senior Mandy Fisher led the Grizzlies with 13 points and eight rebounds. Junior Riley Achenbach added 10 points and four rebounds. Senior Lauren DeSutter and freshman Melissa Beer added four points each.

Hanover, which improved to 8-8 overall and 6-3 in the HCAC, was led by Kate Hartman with 21 points. Maleha Motter added 10 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

Franklin's next game is Saturday against visiting Bluffton and is part of a men's women's doubleheader. Tip-off is approximately 4 p.m.
