Men's Basketball falls at home to Rose-Hulman

FRANKLIN, IN. – Franklin College men's basketball was defeated by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday December 7 by a score of 73-86.

The Grizzlies fall to a 2-4 overall record (0-2 in the HCAC) in their first conference game inside the Spurlock Center. Junior John Beineke finished the night with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Freshman Braxton Day contributed 17 points off the bench for Franklin, and Brett McCory tallied 9 rebounds respectively.

Leading the way for the Fightin' Engineers was junior Steven Scheuth finishing the game with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Charlie Aimone was also a presence on both ends of the floor recording 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Franklin College is back at home this Saturday Dec. 10th for a women's and men's HCAC double header against Earlham College with the women's tip-off set for 1:00 pm and men to follow.
