Franklin College Men's Basketball Team Picks Up First Conference Win against Earlham College

FRANKLIN, Ind. –After a tense game The Franklin College Men's Basketball team picked up their first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference win against Earlham. The final score for the game was 76-68.

The game was close down to the wire with more than half of Earlham and Franklin's points being scored in the second half.

Junior center John Beineke led the Grizzles in both points and rebounds. He put up 14 points over the whole game and nine rebounds.

Senior guard Robbie Prather scored 13 points for the Grizzles and was 2-2 on free throw attempts.

Freshman forward Brett McCory  was second on the team with eight rebounds.

Freshman guard Braxton Day  was 4-6 on attempt field goals and scored 12 points for Franklin.

The Grizzles next game will be December 17 at Bluffton College.
